The Rev. Kevin S. Brown comes to Holy Comforter from Grace Episcopal Church in Paris, Tennessee. He is a 1991 graduate of Duke University with a double in Psychology and Mathematics/Statistics. After serving in the Air Force, he received a Masters in Business Administration at the University of West Florida in 1996. He worked for FedEx Express in Memphis for several years in roles that included Sr. Financial Analyst, Manager of Finance and Sr. Marketing Specialist. He also did a three-year stint with a financial consulting group while in Memphis.
He has been an Episcopalian since the age of five and grew up in the Asheville area, where his mother still resides. He discerned his call to ministry and attended General Theological Seminary in New York before accepting the call to Grace Episcopal Church, Paris, Tennessee in 2007. His wife Caroline is also a Duke graduate and is an accomplished artist.
She is the mother of their two daughters, Emily and Maggie.
